I’d like to tell a foreigner about my motherland. Firstly, I’d tell that Belarus is famous for its lakes and rivers, national parks, forests, outstanding people, sights and symbols, of course. Belarusian symbols are a bison, a stork and a cornflower. The country is full of unique landscapes, historical monuments and amazing architecture. One of the most interesting sights is situated in Brest region. It is called Belovezskaya Puscha where you can find a national symbol, a bison which symbolizes strength and power. This natural sight is one of the UNESCO world heritage list nowadays. Secondly, another worthy place to visit is Mir castle which is situated in Grodno region. This castle was built in the 16th century and attracts a great number of tourists every year. Without exception Belarus is often described as a castle land. Thirdly, another beautiful castle is situated in Minsk region and is called Nesvizh castle. Of course, people often visit St. Sophia’s cathedral in Vitebsk. Finally, the most interesting sight includes the National History Museum in Minsk and the National Library of Belarus. Welcome to our wonderful country.
ОтветитьУдалитьI'd like to tell a lot of my friends from the Britain about my country –Belarus. No wonder it is called the blue-eyed country . In Belarus, a lot of lakes around 10,000 and many rivers. The lakes and rivers are clear and clear , and the scenery is breathtaking. We have a lot of forests, meadows and swamps. Literally a third of Belarus is covered with forests. Belovezhskaya Pushcha Is the only place where you can meet mighty bison in their natural habitat. Pushcha is a nature reserve, but some of its parts are open to tourists and you can enjoy the beauty of untouched nature. Medieval castles of Belarus fascinate and allow you to plunge into the world of knights and ladies in sloping dresses . There are still castles as Mir, Nesvizh, Grodno and Lida . And of course the culture of Belarus . We have a lot of traditions , folk dances , national costumes , songs and much more. I can talk about Belarus for a long time, I love my homeland.
