I think important project for me is “Climate change”. I choose this project, because this is completely related to modern problems. We can correct with production with lower emissions, use electric transport.

In my opinion all projects are important and relevant, but I would like to join the project "Stabilizing our climate by protecting the restoring nature". Тhis project describes the problem of pollution of life support systems with greenhouse gases, including carbon dioxide, which cause global warming. According to the project even if the word stops using fossil fuels altogether we will not be able to achieve good results if we don’t stop the destruction of ecosystems such as forests which absorb and store carbon. In other words, if we don’t protect nature, we will not be able to prevent climate change. The scientific community says that we have 10 years to cut greenhouse gas emissions, otherwise the consequences will be catastrophic. Another reason why I would like to join this project is that the solution of environmental problems is based on natural and climatic methods aimed at preserving, restoring and improving the use of ecosystems. They prevent huge carbon dioxide emissions by conserving peat, mangroves, old growth forests. Conservation International is working to protect 120 million hectares of ecosystems containing large amounts of irreplaceable carbon emissions by 2025.
ОтветитьУдалитьin my opinion all projects are important, but I want to join the project " doubling ocean protection", because this project applies the necessary immediate measures to prevent unprecedented sea level rise and dangerous water warming. this is a very important project, because three out of every seven people in the world depend on seafood as the main source of protein, 10 times more carbon is accumulated in coastal habitats than in tropical forests per unit area, the ocean is the main source of water resources. I would also like to at least somehow influence the protection of the ocean and help this project develop further

The ocean will empty, and people will disappear. After all, 80% of oxygen is produced by ocean algae. The ocean absorbs carbon dioxide, which fills the atmosphere due to harmful industrial emissions.

The goals of this project are protect 13% of the ecosystems, increase mangrove forests worldwide by 20%, develop project to capture 200 megatons of carbon dioxide, increase available financing for natural climate solutios by $10 billion. The project strategy focuses on ensuring that will be Earth's natural "carbon sinks". I think this project can help us to protect our planet from destruction.

ОтветитьУдалитьI have been reading all this projects and in my opinion they are all very important. This issues are different but if we will not solve them Earth would in very bad condition. If I need choouse only one project probably I will choose the first one. Lately I've seen these problems in my life. I meen last summer was very hot, winter 2019 was warm. After reading I probably start to reduce my carbon dioxide footprint

The whole point of this project is to launch unmanned aerial vehicles into the jungle, that is, drones. The reason for this was that over the past 60 years, almost half of all forests and jungles of Madagascar have been illegally cut down. These drones helped to identify more than 51 points of illegal deforestation, which helped patrol officers determine where to strengthen control. Along with the search for illegally cleared land, this program helps to track a crop yield tracking project for farmers. Thanks to the drone, people can more easily and quickly protect Madagascar's forests, which are crucial for supporting local communities and iconic wildlife such as lemurs and fossils.
